    Food that transports you back to childhood! Everything you could want from a menu: the classics and unique dishes. I was originally between the bolognese and carbonara, then the waiter told us one of the specials of the evening was chicken marsala and I immediately went with that. The best part - choose between pasta and polenta! Polenta was my favorite growing up. Flavors and textures were perfect. Homemade tiramisu to top it off. Service was excellent and attentive. Subtle Sinatra playing in the back. It was a great dining experience.

    My wife and I picked this lovely place as a result of yelp reviews. Upon entering, Julian warmly greeted us and invited us to choose our seat from the available tables and accompanied us to our choice of table. When we sat down, he engaged us in friendly conversation and made us feel welcome and at home. I had the sole which I commented to him was the best I'd had since what was my former favorite place for that dish. (since 1982!) My wife had veal which she commented was similarly excellent. Ristorante Buon Gusto was clean, the food was more than enough for the meal such that we were very disappointed that our travel plans didn't allow us to take the leftovers with us. I typically don't write many reviews, typically reserve my time for very bad or very good experiences. While we visited the restaurant almost a week ago, I still remember the experience and felt compelled to let others know what a delightful experience they'll have visiting Ristorante Buon Gusto.
